Hidden return line185 viewsThe hidden return line dissappears into a channel in the back of the middle foam block. I need to carve out the mine entrace withough breaking the edge of the channel.

Rear Yard185 viewsThe profile of the rear yard has had to be changed as the turntable has been raised to allow for increased clearance requirements beneath it. The nails are height markers for the new surface which will be created with expanding foam.

Testing Clearances185 viewsI have had a bit of spare flex and some trucks out to test to make sure all the clearances of the many tunnels are sufficient. Here i was testing the return line as it runs under the passing loop.

Expanding Foam185 viewsI got some expanding foam and have been using it to glue foam parts together, fill in holes, and build up the rear yard. Here is the adaptions to the upper mine area.

Rear Yard185 viewsThe expanding foam has now been cut to shape using a saw. A very messy job, but it has resulted in a nice flat yard, meaning that trains won't roll away.

Turntable area.185 viewsThe turntable area has also been cut to the correct height and the expanding foam mostly cleaned up.

Plastering185 viewsThe right hand side has recieved a coat of plaster also. This plaster needs to be sanded smooth and will have another thin layer on top of it.

The Turntable185 viewsThe expanded foam here is now fully cleaned up. If you look at the back, you can see that the turntable level is in 2 peices, which have been fused together with expanding foam.
